John Howard Sanden's Portraits of President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Welch Bush edit
- ... that Michelle Obama promised George W. Bush that she'd rescue his presidential portrait from a fire? Source: "He [Bush] reminded the audience that when the White House was attacked by the British, Dolley Madison saved George Washington's portrait. He looked at the current first lady and said pointing at his portrait, "Michelle, if there's a fire, there's your man." The first lady obliged. "I promise you," Michelle Obama said, "I'm going straight for it."" (NPR 31 May 2012, 'President Obama Hosts President Bush For Unveiling Of Official Portraits')

- @No Swan So Fine: New and long enough, within policy, Earwig finds no copyvios, QPQ done, hook checks out, slight tweak to hook made. I have two suggestions that are outside the scope of the DYK criteria. First, the title is overly long, and I think something like Presidential portraits of George W. and Laura Bush would be better. Second, the article would benefit from either a low-resolution image (allowed by WP:NFCI to accompany critical commentary), or an external link using Template:External media, so readers can easily see what the paintings look like.
