  • Comment On a side note, like I already explained elsewhere, I've inserted the "(diplomat)" specification to the article's title because, while working on it as a draft, I had realized there was an eponymous philologist and priest who was also registered on Wikidata, so I wanted to avoid confusion. • Article is new & long enough, & seems well-written & neutral. I'm a bit dubious about the first hook - what the NYT did was to identify him. The Swedish government had announced that an unnamed man was detained a year earlier. Maybe refactor. Alt hook is ok. Earwig finds nothing. Johnbod (talk) 00:44, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
@Johnbod: You're probably right, although it's not that simple to find a way out... What about this?
ALT0b: ... that in September 2023, a New York Times report publicly confirmed the detention of Johan Floderus in Iran after a year-and-a-half since his arrest?
P.S. I must address I'm not a native English speaker, so sorry in advance if I'm articulating myself strangely... Oltrepier (talk) 10:27, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
That's essentially there, but "that in September 2023, a New York Times report publicly confirmed the detention of Johan Floderus in Iran a year-and-a-half after his arrest?" is more idiomatic. As reviewer, I'm not supposed to propose ALT versions. Johnbod (talk) 03:37, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
@Johnbod: That's fine, I can tweak it even further, and then we should be fine:
ALT0c: ... that in September 2023, The New York Times publicly confirmed the detention of Johan Floderus in Iran a year-and-a-half after his arrest? Oltrepier (talk) 20:07, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
Yes, GTG, with ALT1 or, probably better, ALT0c Johnbod (talk) 20:27, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
