Article is new enough and long enough. It is well written and within policies.
Hooks - Main hook - OK; ALT1 - OK; ALT2 - dates are unclear in ref text, "almost half a year" is probably true but it could be anywhere between 4 1/2 and 6 months, and sounds clumsy; ALT4 - ok by English lang ref (the emperor chosen was actually a boy of ten); ALT5 - ref text is not in English, so I cannot verify.   • Regarding Garendi, in the article it says Preteen as another source has him as being twelve. The emperor meant is actually Singseh; Garendi was chosen by joint Javanese-Chinese forces. If you prefer, ALT6: ... that during the First Java War, the reigning Sunan of Mataram was usurped by his preteen nephew after capitulating to the Dutch?
