Jørgen Hviid

edit
  • ... that Jørgen Hviid is referred to as the "father of Danish ice hockey"? EnglishDanish ""Jens Nielsen er den eneste der har scoret over 100 internationale mål og afdød Jørgen Hviid" danskhockeyfar ""/"Jens Nielsen the only one who has scored over 100 international goals, and deceased Jørgen Hviid "Father of Danish Hockey"."Danish Jørgen Hviid, den store pioner og "ishockeyens far" i Danmark/"Jørgen Hviid, the great pioneer and the "ice hockey's father" in Denmark."
    • ALT1:... that in 1949, Jørgen Hviid was the first captain of the Denmark men's national ice hockey team? DanishDanish Han var leder af Danmarks første verdensmesterskab, som blev slået 47-0 af Canada./"He was the captain/leader of Denmark's first World Cup team, which was beaten 47-0 by Canada." In this case, leader is translated as captain, and is listed as such at eliteprospects for the 1949 championships.

Article is long enough and new enough; no sourcing, copyright, or content issues were found. Both hooks meet length and format criterion; and both hooks have good source. First hook has English language source while ALT1 has Danish language source which was checked using on-line language converter. QPQ was done. Either hook would work for DYK, but I think first hook is more likely to generate follow-up hits from readers. --Orygun (talk) 04:36, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
