Incident at Clovelly Cottage
Incident at Clovelly Cottage
  • ... that Incident at Clovelly Cottage (1895) (frame pictured) was the "first successful motion picture film made in Britain"?
    • ALT1:... that ...?

  • The article is new (it was created on 10 June) and long enough. It is neutral, cites sources with inline citations. Hook is interesting to a broad audience. Hook fact is accurate and cited with an inline citation in the article, but it is a non-attributed quote from the cited source. The copyright status of the picture is not clear: US public domain tag is missing, and it is protected by copyright law, according to a source ([1]). QPQ is still to be done. Sorry for the delay. I have just received a new book with relevant information that I need to incorporate. It will be done within the next day or so. Philafrenzy (talk) 23:06, 8 July 2017 (UTC)
QPQ done. Quote attributed in hook and article lead. Added the US PD tag at commons. The image is 1895. Acres died in 1918 and Paul in 1943, both over 70 years ago so the image will be PD. It's common for photo libraries to claim copyright on images long out of copyright. Philafrenzy (talk) 13:36, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
QPQ done, accepting previous review on good faith. -Kieran (talk) 16:35, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
