5x Expanded by Al Ameer son (talk). Nominated by The Egyptian Liberal (talk) at 20:33, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

  • As far as I can tell, expansion began on August 16, which is well over 5 days ago. Also, for what it's worth, hooks that focus on negative aspects of living individuals are frowned upon (particularly if a case is still ongoing). rʨanaɢ (talk) 21:14, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
The article have been expanded over five time is sized. It is very well written and very well sourced. It talks about an important figure, not only in Egypt but world wide as well. He is wanted by the Interpol and he was managed to escape to Spain. Here is an alternative hook the might work:
  • It's still not 5x expanded within the past five days. It was 3603 characters on August 19 (before expansion began on August 26), and is 15,546 characters today, over 10 days later (and it was only about 13,000 characters when I reviewed it this morning). This is less than 5x expansion (which would be about 18,000 characters).
  • You also did not address at all my comment about the BLP issue. I didn't say the individual is not important. I said, as stated in the DYK rules, that hooks which focus unduly on negative aspects of living individuals are usually not accepted. Please don't make irrelevant comments. rʨanaɢ (talk) 07:36, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
  • I did address your concern regarding the hook was negative so I wrote an alternative hook that said he working for Egyptian intelligence (which is not a negative thing). If the 2nd doesnt work, let me know and I will think of something else. -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 12:07, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
