• In the sentence "The front suspension was by a trailing-link fork,[1][2] unlike those on other Harley-Davidsons,[8] which were leading-link "Springer" forks at the time" there are references for the first two statements, but nothing showing that all other Harleys had Springer forks. I followed the Springer Fork link, and didn't find the statement supporte either. Other than that one thing, it looks really good. It's certainly long enough, parses well and makes good use of visual illustrative material. I only wish the photo you selected to go DYK wasn't slightly crooked!Ellin Beltz (talk) 17:54, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

1. QPQ for self noms - Yes, see above for link.
2. DYK check on date, length - Yes, both date & length are fine. Article was moved from user-space.
3. 1500 prose for new - Yes, the article is over 1500 words.
4. Every paragraph sourced - Yes, as are many of the phrases within sentences.
5. Is hook sourced at end of sentence? - Yes, the hook is sourced at the end of the sentence in the article.
6. Is hook short under 200 characters - Yes, hook is under 200 characters and to the point
7. NPOV -- Yes, the article maintains NPOV.
8. Image used must also appear in article - Yes, the article uses the same image as here.
9. Image copyright - I checked all the images. They are all on Commons, two are patent illustrations, the others have been released by their creators.
