Article is long enough, recently expanded more than 5x, neutral and interesting. It is referenced with inline citations, however reference 4 and 5 do not work properly; (4: "Flora of Australia Online Error: No Name Details"; 5:HTTP 404) these should be fixed. Hook is short enough and interesting, and cited in the article to three online references (2, 3, 4). It could not be fully verified in the cited refernces, and as noted above, ref 4 does not work properly. Picture is used in the article, and Commons licence is ok. - Thank you for providing the missing reference 4. (Ref 2 and current 4 have mostly identical text, wrapped in different settings, so not much new from that reference). I am trying to verify that leaves "cradle the flowers" (hook main fact), or are "cupped around the flowers" (article). I could only "verify" this from pictures (several) in the cited references, but in the text description I only find "cupped about stem" (ref 2+4). I would appreciate guidance on this; either hint to textual description, or advice on whether a hook can be verified from pictures. Oceanh (talk) 20:26, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks to Cas Liber and Oceanh (talk) for your work on this. In writing "Leaves ...cupped around the flowers" I was using the Flora of Australia Online site which reads "Leaves ... cupped about stem", "Inflorescence axillary" and "fruit 1–5 per axil". Overstated? (Wish I had an image as good as the one on the FloraBase site.) Gderrin (talk) 23:13, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for the alt1 hook. I think this is better verified than the original, because there are also flowers at leafless nodes, and there might not be flowers at every leaf. Sorry this took some time. The hook fact about the flowers is not taken directly from the reference, but I think the interpretation is within what is acceptible and not violating OR.
