- Article - created new on 5 April, so new enough; 1726 characters of readable prose, so long enough; neutral; no copy vios detected using earwig/duplication detector; un-assessed, so not a stub; and no BLP problems (although I guess he's no longer alive?).
- Hook - within length criteria at 74 characters - I fixed a typo; correctly formatted; correctly cited/supported by ref #2 in 2nd paragraph of lead section; and interesting. I prefer the original hook, so have struck ALTs (ALT1 didn't really strike me as especially unusual?).
- QPQ done; no image.
