Great Kentucky Hoard
- ... that in an undisclosed part of Kentucky, a man found 700 gold coins on his own land? Source: A multimillion-dollar hoard of more than 800 U.S. Civil War-era coins was recently found in a cornfield somewhere in the state of Kentucky... unnamed finder, who wishes to remain anonymous and A Kentucky man got the surprise of his life while digging in his field earlier this year: a cache of over 700 coins from the American Civil War era.
