Gemiler Island
edit- ... that Gemiler Island, off the coast of Turkey, may have been the location of Saint Nicholas' original tomb?
- Reviewed: Noisy Miner
- Comment: A rather convolutedly linked Christmas hook. Would have been better for Saint Nicholas day, but I missed it (only read about this island today).

- I haven't fully checked the article to see whether it meets DYK criteria, but on a quick look through it desperately needs copy editing. For example, the article says, "may have been the location of the location of St. Nicholas' original tomb," which is redundant. Also, bodies are interred in a tomb, not interned. Please tidy the article's prose. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:02, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- Article is new, long enough, and good to go. Should probably be used for Christmas. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:53, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
