  • This review is for ALT0 since ALT1 is not very interesting or exceptional.
General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - The hook is not found in the article, nor is the provided source directly linking the concept and set list with Velasquez's desire to sing anything she wants (although you may be right, the source merely refers to the title of the concert). Policy requires that "the hook must be supported in the article by at least one inline citation to a reliable source..."
  • Interesting: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Thank you for this new high-quality article! Please work the wording of the hook into the article and tweak the hook so that it should only refer to the title of the concert, e.g. ... that the title of the livestreaming concert Freedom came from Regine Velasquez's desire to have "freedom of singing" anything she wants? -- P 1 9 9   14:54, 13 March 2023 (UTC)

  • @P199: thanks for the review. I've made revisions to the article since nominating it to DYK so the Alt0 hook was paraphrased in prose in the article. I changed it to something that's now mentioned in the article and cited. Lmk what you think or if you have tweaks. Pseud 14 (talk) 20:33, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
ALT0a: ... that the concept and set list of the livestreaming concert Freedom, was from Regine Velasquez's desire to perform new material from a variety of music genres that she had never done before? Source: What you need to know: 'Freedom: The Regine Velasquez Valentine Digital Concert'. The Philippine Star. January 27, 2021.; From setlist to outfits, Regine discloses "getting more involved" in 'Freedom' concert. ABS-CBNnews.com. January 29, 2021.
ALT0b: ... that the concept and name for the livestreaming concert Freedom, was crafted from Regine Velasquez's desire to perform new material?Source: What you need to know: 'Freedom: The Regine Velasquez Valentine Digital Concert'. The Philippine Star. January 27, 2021.; From setlist to outfits, Regine discloses "getting more involved" in 'Freedom' concert. ABS-CBNnews.com. January 29, 2021.
  • First, we are not supposed to change any of the proposed hooks. Instead, just add revisions as new alternatives (otherwise we can't discuss the previous versions anymore). I have reinstated the original hook, and added your revision as ALT0a above. -- P 1 9 9   14:37, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
Second: the problems are the same for ALT0a. The hook is not in the article. And again, the written sources don't say anything about the concept and set list (if that is in the YT interview, let me know at what minute - I don't have time to sit through nearly 3 hours of that). Yes you can edit the article after nomination, but you shouldn't change the text so that it invalidates this DYK. -- P 1 9 9   14:51, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
@P199: Simplified (see Alt0b). The hook should be taken from the second para in the body. Here's a breakdown: name/concept for Freedom as supported by Ref 10: "The title "Freedom" refers to many things for Regine: Because of the pandemic that happened, it’s like we all want to be free. I wanted to do something else and be given that freedom of singing whatever I want"; Ref 11 is cited to support claim of wanting to perform new material/new songs: "There will be lots of new songs and some old ones, but with an exciting twist."; Ref 2: "the repertoire is different—different songs, different genres." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pseud 14 (talkcontribs) 10:38, March 16, 2023 (UTC)
Unfortunately, you are synthesizing the information from the various sources. Why not keep it simple and just focus on the concert title? See my first review comment above for a suggested hook that will comply with all criteria (and add it to the article). Regards, -- P 1 9 9   18:19, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
@P199: I guess your suggestion could work. Added to the article:
for ALT2. Thanks Pseud14 the revisions. Now it is as accurate as it is supposed to be. -- P 1 9 9   18:50, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
