Overall: Thank you for uploading this article - what fun! This article is fine, and good to go. Storye book (talk) 21:11, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Bruxton and Storye book: this is one of those hooks that is interesting without an image, but would very much benefit from one—infobox image looks free, want to use it? theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/she) 07:20, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: Thank you. I agree on principle, but the trouble with that image is that IMO it doesn't work as a thumbnail, and as you have mentioned elsewhere, non-best DYK images are unlikely to get used as we already have more DYK images than we need. In such a case, I would normally crop the image so that it works as a thumbnail, but when I attempted to crop that one and upload it with proper acknowledgment on a new filepage, a message came up saying that it is under a protected licence in that we would need to get special permission to upload a cropped copy (properly acknowledged or not). So I gave up. However if you think that as it stands it would work as a thumbnail and get used at DYK, I'll support you all the way. Storye book (talk) 11:04, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- Update: On looking again, I realised that one of the images in the category has a normal licence, so (in case you can use one of them) I made a few cropped versions. I added more cropped versions here. If you use one of these Bruxton, you will need to add it to the article as well, of course. I'm glad I did this, because isolating two of the other "trapped" figures reveals the very obvious and in-your-face influence of Michelangelo - but of course that's for the audience to notice, and not for us to say. - @Storye book and Theleekycauldron: images are great. I am ok with them. Bruxton (talk) 15:28, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Bruxton: Thank you. If you would like to choose one of the pictures, please add it to the article, and let us know so that I can remove any unwanted pictures from this template, and indicate that the nom is ready to go with another green tick? Storye book (talk) 16:27, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Storye book: cropped (1a) looks best. It shows to cutaway and the metamorphosis Bruxton (talk) 16:34, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you, Bruxton. Good to go with image supplied, and ALT0 preferred. Storye book (talk) 17:16, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Bruxton and Storye book: perfect! for future reference, if you use a crop of an image, it's enough for the full image to be used in the article. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/she) 18:10, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
- It would be normally, but that extract is not taken from that infobox photograph (as I explained above), so we have to have both images in the article. Storye book (talk) 20:08, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
