  • ... that Texas Farm to Market Road 1709, which was redesignated as an Urban Road in 1995, due to it's urban location in Tarrant County, is one of just seven Texas Farm Roads where the entire course of the road was not designated as an Urban road?

  • The article has neither been 5x expanded or created within the last five days. Even if we stretch D9 a bit and move it back to February the 17th, which is when it was created, there are some serious problems - there are no references for the "Route description" section (unlike a film or book's plot, this does need to be referenced lest it be WP:OR, and the hook is, well, somewhat confusing - what is an Urban Road in Texas, and why are routes normally (are they?) designated as them? - The Bushranger One ping only 19:26, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
  • The article has been independently improved (I didn't know about this DYK nomination when I did my copy editing), which has resolved most of the deficiencies, but the proposed hook above just isn't very interesting or attention-grabbing. The fact isn't even in the article, and it's very esoteric. TxDOT doesn't have different signage for the Urban Roads, instead that designation exists only on paper for Farm/Ranch to Market Roads in urbanized areas. Unfortunately, I can't find anything in the article currently to suggest as an alternate hook. Imzadi 1979  05:31, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
