FF Aquilae

edit

5x expanded by Casliber (talk). Self nominated at 07:09, 19 July 2014 (UTC).

  • Expanded enough and recently enough; neutral; cited in all the right places to make a reader feel special; plagiarism, copyvio, and close-paraphrasing taken on good faith (that there isn't any, obviously) QPQ done in a brisk friendly hip fashion. The hook...increasing by 0.072 (No! say it isn't so!) ± (plus OR minus?!?! Never!!!) 0.011 seconds [GASP!]. If the wikicup gives points for boring hooks, you've just won it. It is cited and accurate but, since I think that is more likely to lull readers into unconsciousness than hook them, I'll suggest an ALT that seems to be supported (though you will probably tell me it is not strictly accurate and we'll be stuck with the snoozifying hook):
ALT1 ...that FF Aquilae is a binary system containing three stars? Belle (talk) 10:58, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
ye-eah....maybe ALT2 ...that the main star of FF Aquilae is a pulsating supergiant 39 times the diameter of the Sun? Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 11:18, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
That's better. Go for ALT2! Belle (talk) 11:35, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
