  • Why isn't this material simply used to expand Stand in the Schoolhouse Door slightly, rather than forking to a new article that overlaps with the old? Of course, the full text of the order wouldn't belong there (it belongs at Wikisource, really) but otherwise this fork is more about the situation than the order itself, and that information belongs at the main article. Isn't it time that DYK nominations had to state whether WikiCup points will be claimed? A similar declaration has been required at FAC for years. BencherliteTalk 09:57, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
  • It's not a CFORK. Only the first paragraph of the history section covers the Stand in the Schoolhouse Door excluding the last sentence (incidentally the Schoolhouse Door article doesn't even mention the Order), the rest is about the impact the order had. And indeed as you say, the text of the order would not fit in the SITSD article and to put this in there would violate UNDUE. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 20:35, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
  • I have proposed a merge on the talk pages, to look something like User:Bencherlite/sandbox1, which in my view is much better than two parallel articles on the same topic. BencherliteTalk 08:35, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Marking with the appropriate icon for an article with a merge discussion. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:12, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
  • The articles have now been merged together so this is now simply a redirect. BencherliteTalk 11:14, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Placing a DYK No sign to make it official. —Bloom6132 (talk) 22:29, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
