Edward Wickham

5x expanded by Harrias (talk). Self nominated at 21:54, 14 January 2015 (UTC).

  • Article was expanded more than five times on 14 January. The current article is well over 1500 characters. Article is neutral and cites its sources frequently with inline citations. Furthermore, it seems to be free of copyright violations, though this is hard to check since the majority of the sources are on subscription basis. Hook format and length are correct, and it is interesting as well. One minor issue: the hook needs to be cited directly after the sentence in which it appears, your citation is one sentence later. As I can't check whether this is the intended one I'll leave the adjusting to you. QPQ done. Overall a very interesting read, great job!
Not relevant for DYK: but it would be nice to know in what year Wickham provided the tours to the two royals. Or why he was appointed the Order of the Lion and the Sun. Crispulop (talk) 19:56, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
@Crispulop: I hate that DYK rule. Anyway, it was the same ref, so added a completely redundant duplicate reference purely for DYK, which I'll delete later. Harrias talk 20:27, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
I know, it seems a minor issue, but a rule is a rule. Thanks for the fix, now this one is good to go.Crispulop (talk) 20:32, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
