  • New enough (created January 9), long enough (2,279 characters), neutral, well sourced (though ref 2 should probably be more than a bare URL), spot check of 4 refs showed no copyvio/close paraphrase problems, hook is quite short, content is true and cited in ref 13, QPQ not done yet. ALT: ... that of East Wind Over Weehawken Edward Hopper wrote that "only the grass, the uncut dead grass, shows where the wind is"? Djflem (talk) 21:04, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
QPQ now done, and ALT fulfills all criteria but may I suggest an ALT2 that builds off ALT1 but adds a little specificity? Something like:
How's something like that, or do you prefer your original or ALT instead? BobAmnertiopsisChatMe! 07:40, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
Pretty straightforward, and probably something the closing editors will go for. Attempting something with a bit more allure or intrigue since most hooks are flat, but not w/great success. Let's see. Djflem (talk) 13:48, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
That's pretty much what I figured. Alright, I can support that. I've stricken ALT2. Original and ALT hooks are good to go. BobAmnertiopsisChatMe! 15:46, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
