  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Overall: concise, just long enough. I couldn't see this in source clearly The organization dates back to 1905, when an association of German half-blood breeders (Halbblutzüchter) was founded in Berlin. However, hook is in article ad source and fulfills dyk as far as I can see. Thank you @Gerda Arendt:. Whispyhistory (talk) 07:25, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

  • Who cares that an organization "dates back to 1905"? There are probably plenty of organizations that old. Surely a better hook can be found. In fact I think I'll propose one now:
  • ALT1: ... that Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung is an umbrella organization with origins dating back to 1905 that governs equestrian breeding, care and sports in Germany?

- changing the emphasis of the hook. Gatoclass (talk) 10:07, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

  • I'm restoring Whispyhistory's approve for ALT1 as they pertain to the same hook facts, just a different emphasis. Gatoclass (talk) 09:01, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote ALT1, but even with the change in focus, it does not reflect the extensive scope of the organization and comes across rather dull. How about:
  • ALT2: ... that Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung, the governing body for the majority of equestrian sports in Germany, promotes the status of the horse as a "cultural achievement"?
  • ALT3: ... that in 2013, Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung, the governing body for the majority of equestrian sports in Germany, issued hundreds of thousands of licences enabling horses and riders to compete? Yoninah (talk) 22:25, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
Like ALT2 --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:32, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
  • ALT2 is within character count, is in article and is followed by inline citation (not in English). OK with me. Whispyhistory (talk) 06:44, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
