@Muboshgu: Glad to see that, with party leadership elections in the news right now, coverage is being extended to past elections as well! New and long enough, within policy, Earwig detects no copyvios, QPQ satisfactory. The article and cited source do not explicitly characterize the opposition as strong, merely that Reid and Pelosi endorsed someone else. This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts for ALT1 are established through inline citations to reliable sources, and I have added ALT1a which I prefer. The image is appropriately licensed, the article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:25, 8 December 2016 (UTC).
