Darcy Blake edit

Improved to Good Article status by Kosack (talk). Self-nominated at 20:06, 1 July 2018 (UTC).

  • Article was promoted to Good Article status on June 29. It is long enough, with 10562 characters, and does not have obvious copyright violations. The source provided says that Darcy "has been without a professional club since the end of 2013-14", which supports the statement that he left the professional game at 25. The same source later states that he is "playing rugby union and there are no signs of a return to professional football".
Alternate wording suggestion: "...that Welsh international footballer Darcy Blake retired from the professional games at the age of 25 and later developed an interest in rugby?"
Awaiting QPQ. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 14:19, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
@Krimuk2.0: Thanks for the review, I've added a QPQ review now. In regards to the hook, I think the interesting part of the hook is the fact that, despite being in prime footballing age, he ended up playing local rugby. I'm not sure developed an interest would convey that, although there may certainly be a better way to word the hook. Kosack (talk) 12:19, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
GTG. I'll leave the exact wording of the hook to the coordinator. Good luck! Krimuk2.0 (talk) 15:58, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
