  • Everything seems in order, hook is present and cited, article is in good shape, no issues with sourcing or writing. The list of references is a little brief but not worryingly so as it seems to cover what's necessary, and I imagine this young man's career will be further covered in sources in future anyway. Image is also suitable for main page use. Good to go. GRAPPLE X 11:36, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
  • @Tigerboy1966, Athomeinkobe, and Grapple X: I am having a hard time finding a source for the main hook, which I was looking to promote. There is no direct souce by the article statement and the next source seems to cover "win/loss" not his preference for push and thrust moves. There needs to be a source to support the hook - can you point out which one does that?  MPJ-DK  04:28, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
  • MPJ-DK, the second-last paragraph of the first reference has this sentence. 高校時は組む相撲も取っていたが、プロに入ってからは突き押し一本 Translated literally, it says he also used gripping sumo when in high school, but has been a one-way pusher and thruster since turning pro. I think that supports the hook sufficiently. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 05:12, 10 September 2016 (UTC):
the third reference says that his favoured techniques are tsuki-, oshi-. That's "thrust" and "push". Tigerboy1966  09:09, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for confirming this, I wanted to be 100% sure before I put it in the prep area. it is going there with the picture now.  MPJ-DK  12:31, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
