  • Both hooks are supported by a citation and are within the length limit. The article has been sufficiently expanded. The image checks out, but it's not mentioned in either hook. Also, there is a grammar issue: it should be "elections were" or "election was". Cordless Larry (talk) 07:53, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Article moved to "elections" and hooks modified to suit. EEng (talk) 12:45, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
The move was incorrect – the title is in line with WP:NC-GAL#Elections and referendums – and has been reversed. Number 57 13:00, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Even where, as here, there were multiple rounds of voting a month apart? I don't see anyting in NC-GAL about that, and the article itself uses "elections" throughout. EEng (talk) 13:21, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Yes, even when there are multiple rounds (see e.g. Malagasy general election, 2013 and Malian presidential election, 2013 where there were two rounds in the presidential election or Mauritanian parliamentary election, 2013 and French legislative election, 2012 where there were two rounds of the parliamentary elections, the former about a month apart). It's fairly standard to use "elections" throughout articles, even though the article title is "election". I guess because the article title is a formal formulaic format, whereas the more common usage appears in prose. Number 57 13:40, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Which is weird, since the general principle for WP:AT is to use common names. Sounds like something that 300 people argued about for years at MOS. EEng (talk) 15:53, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for your comments. I tried to apply them to the hooks and the image. Regarding election/elections issue I have no particular preference, and not being a native speaker of English would not venture any bold opinions here. Cheers--Tomobe03 (talk) 16:33, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Looks like we're making progress, but the image still isn't referred to in either suggested hook. Cordless Larry (talk) 08:35, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Now looks good to go. Cordless Larry (talk) 17:36, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
