- Note: 15 January 2012 would be preferred date for this DYK nom if successful since that would mark the 20th anniversary of international recognition of independence declared pursuant to the referendum that this article covers.

I've made a few copyedits but otherwise it seems OK. AGF on the offline and Croatian-language sources; the article is well-referenced and informative. However, I'd suggest an alternative hook as follows. Prioryman (talk) 09:29, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
