... that the Croatian Natural History Museum exhibited the remains of a cave lion (skull pictured) from Croatia, which was claimed to be one of the biggest ever found at the time of its excavation?

Both articles were nominated within days of creation. They are long enough and perfectly sourced. The sources check out. I can verify both hooks. Official sources or scientific journals would be preferable to internet portals, but we work with what we have. Almost all sources are in Serbo-Croatian, so close paraphrasing is unlikely to be an issue. All images in the article are properly licensed, including the one in the hook. The Croatian Natural History Museum article contains lots of potential hooks, however; I was particularly interested in the Adriatic puffin and the Pag crocodiles.
