Communications Data Bill 2012 edit

Created/expanded by Wnt (talk). Self nom at 16:45, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

  • (Would have been much easier to review this without the redirect!) Date and length OK. However the hook I think requires clarification as it currently insinuates that it's just British people who will be bound by it rather than all people using computers in the UK. Also, have you done a QPQ? Futhermore I'd feel a bit more comfortable if it didn't have that merge proposal on it. The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 18:53, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
That's a good point about the hook - admittedly I was in a rush that day, should have thought it over. I'll see what I can think up... as for the merge proposal, I'm not sure how to make it go away any time soon, as few people seem interested in editing. Wnt (talk) 21:24, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Merge proposal is gone. This article needs a quid pro quo review by its submitter and the hook clarification requested, at which point it should be ready for another review. Notifying creator. (Also, I'm not sure whether the article rename to "Draft Communications Data Bill" will affect the wording of the hook, especially as 2012 is almost over.) Sorry, I've been a bit distracted for the holidays - I'll try to think up a better hook and get the QPQ through soon. Wnt (talk) 14:52, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
I've since done the QPQ - still need to think up a better hook, and first I ought to check if the situation with this proposed legislation has changed. Wnt (talk) 17:52, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. Looking forward to it. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:36, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
