Borunsi edit

  • ... that the book Borunsi was published in 2004 for the first time and Borunsi's body was found in 2011?
  • ALT1:... that the book Borunsi has been published over 200 times?
  • ALT2:... that the Arabic translation of Borunsi sold one million copies in its first year of publication?

  • Article new enough, long enough, and adequately cited. Hook short enough, interesting enough, and also cited. Prefer ALT1 I think. Article appears to be neutral and free of copyright violations and plagiarism. Cheers!♦ Dr. Blofeld 21:00, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
  • The page needs a serious copyedit, beginning with the first line: Borunsi is a selection of family and comrades memories of Abd-al-Hussai Borunsi about his characteristics. Yoninah (talk) 02:20, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Page has been copyedited, Looks fine.Rhumidian (talk) 12:02, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you for your help. I edited the page some more to comply with English grammar. I added a few "citation needed" tags where material needs to be referenced, and also a question: What is a "defense book"? This needs to be explained in the text, or linked to a Wikipedia article for explanation. The references that are in Arabic need to be noted as such, and the references should be more complete, including the publisher where applicable. Yoninah (talk) 15:09, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Yoninah A sacred defense book is a book that is written on the subject of the courage of the Iranian soldiers during the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war. Might be worth writing an article/creating a category about them.Rhumidian (talk) 17:27, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Note: the cn tag in the lead refers to it being a bestselling book in Iran. The part about being published 200 times is already cited. Yoninah (talk) 15:13, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Note:Reply:I will see if i can find some sources now and fix up that article as i have some free time. Loos like it might be quite difficult to get official figures on iran but its worth a shot.
Ok Yoninah, I have tried to add some more citations. That was all that i could find not being a persian speaker. It might be better to get someone with knowledge of iranian to research more about this book. From what i have found about this book it seems to be a very significant recent publication in iran.Rhumidian (talk) 17:05, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you very much, Rhumidian, for taking care of all that. The article looks in very good shape now. I just have one question for the page creator, @Munifi3nt:. I'm not able to read Arabic or Persian, but running footnote 5 through Google Translate, it seems to be saying that the book was reprinted more than 200 times in Persian, but that it sold a million copies in Arabic within a year of publication. That second fact seems more significant to mention. Yoninah (talk) 20:39, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Yes, it's very good. I tweaked the hook for English grammar. Foreign-language hook ref AGF (although it checks out through Google Translate) and cited inline. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 11:13, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
