Binsted
edit- ... that famed Second World War Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery is buried in the graveyard of the Church of the Holy Cross in Binsted?
- ALT1=... that Binsted is one of the largest parishes in northern Hampshire and contains four settlements as well as an entire forest? Source... "The parish includes the whole of Alice Holt Forest and, in addition to Binsted village itself, encompasses the settlements of Holt Pound and Bucks Horn Oak in the east and the hamlet of Wyck in the west.", "Binsted today is one of the largest and most rural Civil Parishes in North East Hampshire"

- I love rural England, but I'm not sold on the hook. I'm not sure "one of the largest parishes in northern Hampshire" is really something to get excited about! Perhaps something about the village's history, the church, or the name would be more appropriate? Josh Milburn (talk) 19:35, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Jaguar: I picked this up because it is quite local for me. Certainly a nice little article. GA confirmed, promotion recent. Images properly licensed. Current hook facts verified. As Josh Milburn says, the hook is not great. The fact that is perhaps crying out for inclusion in the hook is that it is the burial place of Monty. Maybe you could do a hook including that? Simon Burchell (talk) 17:38, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- I never knew that! Thanks for letting me know. I've added a sentence regarding the burial site of Montgomery and changed the hook accordingly. J Milburn, how does it look now? JAGUAR 18:56, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- I've tweaked the article slightly - Monty was already mentioned under his formal title. Simon Burchell (talk) 19:27, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- And in case it's important: No objections from me. Josh Milburn (talk) 22:40, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
