small frond of Trudell's spleenwort

  • While managing to disregard the fact that these articles were submitted rather late for DYK, I think the hook facts should be mentioned in both articles. They are currently mentioned and cited only in Harry W. Trudell. Other than this, both articles are new enough and long enough and the image is appropriately licensed. I particularly approve the writing style of the fern article for helpfully explaining some of the technical terms used. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:55, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
  • Oh wow. I don't know how I managed to screw up the deadline...it was late and I was tired. Sorry. Thanks for the advice on the hook facts, though; incorporated. Choess (talk) 01:30, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
  • The hook fact is now cited in both articles. I prefer ALT1 but either will do. I wasn't disallowing these due to their submission date, I was using my discretion to stretch the rules a bit (I have asked about this previously in the discussion forum).
