  • Hi ProfessorBeaver, thanks for your nomination. I am only measuring about a 2.7x expansion between this pre-existing revision and the current length of the article. The requirement in the DYK rules is for a minimum of a 5x expansion. I suspect almost doubling the length again is unachievable? Your best bet to bring this to the main page might be down the WP:Good Article route? Let me know what you think - Dumelow (talk) 15:15, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Hi ProfessorBeaver, just a reminder on this. If I don't hear back I will presume further expansion is not possible and will close the nomination as unsuccessful - Dumelow (talk) 08:39, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
Hi ProfessorBeaver, final reminder on this. In addition to the length issue there are a number of additional citations needed and a dead link to resolve to bring it in line with WP:DYKCITE (I have tagged the relevant places in the article); I didn't find any issue with overly close paraphrasing in a spot check on sources; ALT0 appears in the article and checks out to source cited; you will have to point me to the part of the article that supports that he "represented both the United States and Mexico in the international art world", the concept isn't clear to me; no QPQ is required. Feel free to reply here with any queries - Dumelow (talk) 07:08, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
Given how the article was nowhere near a 5x expansion and the nominator hasn't edited since the day of the nomination, it might be better to just close this as unsuccessful rather than request an adoption. The article wasn't eligible to begin with, and the nomination has languished for over a month in that state. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:54, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
