Albertine Lapensée
  • ... that Albertine Lapensée, described as Canada's first female hockey "superstar", was dogged by accusations of being a man? Source: "Albertine Lapensée was arguably Canada’s first female hockey superstar", "Lapensée was so much better than her rivals, that opponents at the time accused her of being a man." ([1])

  • New article is 5,364 characters long and nominated on the same day as move into mainspace. Duplication detector[2][3][4] reveals no close paraphrasing issues (AGF all the others which have no preview or are in a foreign language). Article is well-sourced. Hook is 121 characters long (under 200 character max.) and is interesting. Ref 1 (verifying the hook) is from from The Canadian Encyclopedia and is a reliable source. Only QPQ needs to be completed. —Bloom6132 (talk) 16:59, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
  • (Not a full review) It appears that a QPQ review remains necessary for this to move forward. North America1000 22:30, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
