Al-Insan edit

5x expanded by HaEr48 (talk). Self-nominated at 23:27, 3 June 2017 (UTC).

  • Recent enough expansion to sufficient length. All text sourced inline, although I can't access most of it. No copyvio or plagiarism according to the tools. Not so sure about the hook, it comes off a bit legend-like - how reliable are these stories? QPQ needed. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 16:15, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks Jo-Jo Eumerus for reviewing. I added QPQ. As for the hook, the report appears in Sahih Bukhari which is considered one of the two most reliable source of hadith (reports about what Muhammad said or did) — that's a good enough standard IMO. Besides, I see no reason why it wouldn't be believable. Reciting a chapter from the Quran is part of the Islamic prayer, and what this means is that on Friday morning Muhammad often picked this chapter. HaEr48 (talk) 18:55, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
  • @Jo-Jo Eumerus: sorry for the late ping, but come to think of it, I think 25 June (this year's Eid ul-Fitr, an important Muslim holiday) would be a good day to run this DYK about an Islamic religious text. What do you think? If you agree, I'll move the nomination to the "Special occasion holding area" section of WP:DYKNA. HaEr48 (talk) 07:28, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
