  • Both articles are long enough and new enough, hook is short enough and hook fact has been verified with the online source. Two issues: the hook grammar needs to be fixed (I didn't know that seaweed could be confused), and what makes the cited source for the hook fact reliable? I can't tell from their homepage who wrote the information, or if there's any evidence of fact-checking and accuracy. Sasata (talk) 07:43, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
  • When I attempted to contact the site, my email was sent to Michael Guiry. On investigation, I find the site is produced by him, Professor Michael Guiry of the Irish Seaweed Research Group. His book on seaweeds is mentioned on the top right hand corner of each page and the site is hosted by AlgaeBase. I think it can be considered a reliable source.
  • Ok then, that's allowed under WP:SPS. ALT1 is ok. Sasata (talk) 14:50, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
