Abdullah II of Jordan edit

Improved to Good Article status by Makeandtoss (talk). Self-nominated at 09:05, 20 January 2018 (UTC).

  • Article was promoted to GA within required period, is more than long enough and is within policy regarding neutrality, sourcing and avoidance of close paraphrasing (note that Earwig detected a 50.3% confidence "violation possible" that is related to a direct quote used in the article.). The hook is interesting, within length limits and properly sourced (to several different references). The image is free, appropriate, used in the article and shows up well at the designated size. QPQ obligation has been met. Alansohn (talk) 17:14, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but notice that the article takes pains to emphasis that this is Abdullah's claim that he is the 41st-generation descendant of Muhammad. Should the hook say "who claims to be"? Yoninah (talk) 23:50, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
@Yoninah: both work since sources do not challenge the claim but even support it. Makeandtoss (talk) 07:46, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
  • Replacing tick as the suggested hook change is minor. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:14, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
