- The hook fact is stated in the article but there is not a citation for it there Pi (Talk to me! ) 23:14, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I could not find a citation about it. It is based on analysis of previous medal tables. Regards; Felipe Menegaz 23:20, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- I'm going by "The hook fact(s) must be stated in the article, and must be immediately followed by an inline citation to a reliable source" in the reviewing guide. This is actually my first DYK review so I'm not sure about exceptions to the rule. Could a more experienced person help out please? Pi (Talk to me! ) 23:43, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- There is a source stating that "Barbados has claimed 10 medals – 3 silver, 7 bronze – since it began participating at the Pan American Games in 1963". It can be implied, as Barbados debuted at the Games, that those would be the country's first medals. Is that enough? Felipe Menegaz 03:31, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
- Conventional logic would tell me that as long as there is a reference to the 1963 games being Barbados' first entry and a reference to them winning medals there that this would be OK, but I would like input from someone with more DYK experience
- Alright. Thank you for the review! Felipe Menegaz 00:24, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
- article is big enough, neutral and referenced, and new enough (redirect to article). Hook is in there and referenced, and see above. and is short enough. So this looks good to go. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:50, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
