(Please set the correct parameter for TYPE e.g.: TYPE=f for a film, or TYPE=p for a person or a company. For detailed instructions look here!) in the film database danskefilm.dk (in Danish)
Description edit
{{Danskefilm}} is a template used to generate an external link to an entry for a work (film/movie, TV or Web program/series, video game, etc.) or a person (or company) in the film database at danskefilm.dk. In an article it should only be used in the "External links" section.
Usage edit
The two required parameters are the TYPE=
and the ID
number. The template then uses the article title as the anchor text:
* {{Danskefilm|TYPE=|ID}}
- Where
TYPE=
is either
TYPE=a
for an animation, orTYPE=f
for a film, orTYPE=p
for a person or a company, orTYPE=s
for a silent movie, orTYPE=t
for a tv-series, and
- Where
ID
is either
- the numerical value in front of ".html", or
- the numerical value behind "php?id=".
To have the link text be other than the article name, use the third parameter:
* {{Danskefilm|TYPE=|ID|Name}}
This is necessary when adding a danskefilm.dk link to an article about somebody or something other than the linked work, or if the article contains a disambiguation such as "(YEAR film)".
Detailed instructions edit
- Copy and paste one of the options above into the article's External links section.
- Set the
TYPE=
to eitherTYPE=f
(film etc.) orTYPE=p
(person or company). - Get the correct
ID
from the referral URL. Danskefilm.dk is framed, so two methods could be suggested:
- A: These instructions apply in Firefox (v35) but are presumed to be essentially similar in other browsers: If you are already on the correct page and the address in your browser reads
http://www.danskefilm.dk/index2.html
, right-click in the frame, and choose View Page Info. From the Referring URL field you will have theID
either in front of ".html", or behind "php?id=" - B: Do a Google search. If e.g. looking for the
ID
for Lars von Trier do a search like this: Search danskefilm.dk for Lars von Trier. From the URL displayed on Google you will have theID
either in front of ".html", or behind "php?id=" (here, "3258
").
- A: These instructions apply in Firefox (v35) but are presumed to be essentially similar in other browsers: If you are already on the correct page and the address in your browser reads
- Copy only the number (here, "
3258
") - Replace "
ID
" in the template code with the number
- For the first option above, you'll then have
* {{Danskefilm|TYPE=p|3258}}
resulting in:- Danskefilm in the film database danskefilm.dk (in Danish)
- Note that the link text is the same as the title of the page the template is used on; outside the page Lars von Trier, use the second option:
- Replace "
ID
" with the number and "Name
" with "Lars von Trier
"* {{Danskefilm|TYPE=p|3258|Lars von Trier}}
results in:- Lars von Trier in the film database danskefilm.dk (in Danish)
- For the first option above, you'll then have
