Template for citing from the Birds of the World Online (BOW) website.
The template uses the CS1/CS2 citation templates, so can take any of the standard {{cite web}} paremeters, as well as the custom parameters described below.

Use the seven character alphanumeric found in the url, e.g. "whtcot1".

The Birds of the World pages provide a recommended citation with authors, e.g.

While the authors can be added manually using |authorN=, |lastN= and |firstN=, you can copy and past the citation into the |citation= parameter and the template will parse the citation text and create the parameters used for the {{cite web}} template.
