Usage edit

The AFD help box (as you see on the right) is automatically shown on all AfD pages (starting June 2018) to give primer links so newcomers can get around the Articles for Deletion process more easily.

Technically, the help box is transcluded on the AFD page when {{Afd2}} is substituted. In the standard AFD template, the box is <noinclude>d, so it will only show on individual AFD discussion pages, not the daily pages.

Hiding the box edit

If you do not wish to see the AFD help box on AFD pages, you can permanently hide it by adding .rootpage-Wikipedia_Articles_for_deletion .afd-help { display: none !important; } to your Special:Mypage/common.css, available for logged-in users. You may need to create the page if you don't already use a custom .css page. You will need to bypass your browser's cache for the changes to take effect.
