Temilade Salami known as Global Temi is a Nigerian environmentalist, a circular economy enthusiast, a marine biologist and an author. She was born on the 10th of June [1][2][3][4] Temilade Salami serves as the Executive Director of EcoChampions a prominent network of environmental professionals in Nigeria, leading change through tree planting, ocean conservation advocacy, plastic waste management, and environmental education across the nation.[5][6]

Temilade founded EcoChampions, a youth-led organization aimed at bridging the climate education gap.[7][8][9]
Temilade is a member of UNESCO SDG4YOUTH Network, and World Bank Global Partnership for Education Youth Leader. She was named 2020 Nigeria's 25 under 25 Leader on Energy and Sustainability, 2018 LASEPA Ambassador against Noise Pollution and a 2018 US Consulate's Carrington Youth Fellow.[2][10][11] She has written two illustrated environmental books for kids to bridge the climate education gap in Africa. She also launched the Climate Education Leaders Fellowship in Africa.[12][13][14]

She holds a master's degree in Environment, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex.[15][16]
