Tappeh Taq (Persian: تپه طاق)[a] is a village in Kuh Yakhab Rural District of Kuh Yakhab District, Eshqabad County, South Khorasan province, Iran, serving as the capital of the district. It was the capital of the rural district[4] until its capital was transferred to the village of Yakhab.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 392 in 104 households, when it was in the former Dastgerdan District of Tabas County, Yazd province.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 523 people in 148 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 439 people in 121 households, by which time the county had been separated from the province to join South Khorasan province.[7] It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In July 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Eshqabad County,[8] and the rural district was transferred to the new Kuh Yakhab District.
