Duplicate article
editTo help stop the confusion I have made it so that Zulkifli Bin Hir will now redirect towards this article due to being under the correct formal name and containing more information than the earlier Wikipedia article. Any quesitons post them to my talk page. Breckham101 (talk) 03:20, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
Not dead?
editI can see nothing in the news article cited in the infobox to suggest he has been shot. I suspect that a non-native English speaker may have misread it.
I have commented out the infobox data on his death.

Guantanamo
editThe article on says that his brother who was arrested and processed through the American civilian criminal court system, is currently held at Guantanamo. There is a source that backs this up, and other web pages also claim this. It is, however, extremely unlikely that anyone processed through the civilian court system would end up in an extra-territorial military prison. I am therefore removing this unless a stronger citation from a major news source, or equally reliable evidence can be found. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 23:26, 27 January 2015 (UTC).
- Thank you for clarifying. Breckham101 (talk) 01:16, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
Unwelcome page move
editI apologize that Zulkifli Abdhir now redirects to Marwan (terrorist). Some guy thought this was a good idea. I am currently working on fixing it. I'd like to ask anyone who can to please revert it back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Breckham101 (talk • contribs) 16:50, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- I agree that a proposed move should have been discussed first using the formal Wikipedia:Requested moves process. Moving "Zulkifli Abdhir" to "Marwan (terrorist)" is obviously controversial, especially when the article covers a high-profile current event. I have submitted a technical request for an admin to revert the move. —BarrelProof (talk) 17:07, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks to a helpful admin, the page has been moved back. If someone thinks this article should be at a different title than Zulkifli Abdhir, they should file a formal "requested move", following the instructions found at WP:RM, and have the question discussed first to determine the Wikipedia consensus. —BarrelProof (talk) 17:35, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Lack of info
editI can't find any articles regarding the killing of a "Christian Member of Parliament" in Malaysia. Had checked for Malaysian news sites and the parliament during that era. Is it an employee rather than actual parliament member? I can only find the Rappler article that this article cites for it. Ambidextrose (talk) 16:47, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
