Rename article to Courgette

Agreed @RyanPLB: but you'll need to find good sources to support it getting changed. (for example, show that zucchini is american only and the rest of the world says courgette). The C of E God Save the King! (talk) 14:15, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Judging from Talk:Maize, US editors wouldn't rest until "zucchini" was restored. It's fine as it is; neither name is ambiguous (unlike "corn") and the redirect deals with usage in those countries that use "courgette". Peter coxhead (talk) 17:31, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

They don't, but when there's no other reason to prefer one title over another, numbers count. I get about twice as many Google hits for "zucchini" than for "courgette" – there are more native speakers of English in North American than elsewhere. Peter coxhead (talk) 22:27, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

It seems like they do to me. I realise that there may be more English speakers within North America. However, does that mean you're shirking the English speakers within Europe? Sounds to me like you are... Do they not matter? RyanPLB (talk) 11:16, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
