For some reason, I saw something that said: Zoo Tycoon 2 is really fun! Is it me or am I halucinating?

A few things

I think this talk page should become an archive, first off. It's so cluttered! The second thing is that I am thinking of combing bonus downloads with the animals list, having a tiny note saying '(Bonus Download' due to the suggestion above. Thank you. --98.193.61.220 23:04, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

I agree with the idea of combining bonus animals with the regular list, and having the note saying that it was a bonus download. Maybe adding where it could be downloaded could be added, to keep the info in the old table. If everyone wants, I could go edit it. -- Aquawolf 02:55, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Zoo Tycoon 2 Mac Page

Why is there even a page for this!? It is no different from the main game in anyway that actually distinguishes it enough to get a page to its own, it should be deleted and have a small section on the main game article Triceratops9 13:24, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

About the Downloads

Those are false, its vandilism. A question about the Addax though, its an download for the African Adventure expansion, so why is the Addax on this page and not the AA page? I'm moving it to where it should be. The DDS link towards the bottom of the page links to a long disambiguation page, and it's not obvious which particular link is intended. I think it's the one for DirectDraw Surface, but does anyone with more knowledge of the game know? Teut 14:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Biomes

Whoever continues to add biomes to the list of animals needs to stop, only the biomes the animals are listed in are relevant to the article not the ones the animals are found in outside of the game, and also the names of the animals in the Extinct Animals expansion should be the ones used in the games not the scientific names. Yeah, and the Triceratops isn't a bonus animal for the original game like in ZT1. It's a normal animal for the EA expansion and no cheat code is required to adopt it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.36.169.168 (talk) 21:05, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Merge

Zoo Tycoon 2 (Animals) was just recently created. While I would normally prod the article as indiscriminate, the species names as well as the list of endangered species could be very well included here as an alternative. Thoughts? MuZemike 16:12, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

I went ahead and redirected that page to this. Technically it could be deleted as a recreation of deleted material because of this AfD, but the redirect is a cheap and quick solution. ThemFromSpace 20:50, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Section blanking Dino digs (2010-08)

Since the original IP address who deleted this section (2010-08-25) was not courteous enough to provide an explanation, I will. Dino digs is an expansion of the original game, not Zoo Tycoon 2, and is listed correctly in that article. Donlammers (talk) 08:51, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

OK, I corrected the date:-) I guess I'm not "every person," because I had to spend time going and looking things up to figure out that the section blanking wasn't vandalism (in my experience, most section blanking by IP addresses IS vandalism). Unlockable Animals

EULA error

Has anyone ever gotten an error message saying that you must accept the EULA before you can play? Problem is, I DID accept the EULA, and yet I still get the error message every time I try opening ZT2. Josh (talk) 09:52, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Merging the expansion pack articles?

Would it be a possible good idea to merge the Zoo Tycoon 2 expansion pack articles into this article? Because I see no particular reason as to say why these would need to be separated.
