Name of Film edit

Zoo (movie) or Zoo (film) ? FT2 (Talk | email) 19:50, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The article on Doom used Doom (film), so this current name should be okay. If there happens to be another film with the same name we can do like IMDB and use Zoo (2007). --Steele the Wolf 06:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
It may now be a good idea to change the name of the title. Zoo at IMDb should be renamed to Zoo (documentary) so that Zoo (tv film) can be made. See Zoo (2015) at IMDb for details.

Moving dead quotes here edit

It appears these quotes were copied/pasted into the lead, perhaps as a replacement for actual prose. They are out of place and all appear to have dead source links.

"The complete antithesis of what you expect ... To begin with, 'Zoo' is neither graphic nor exploitive. Most of it takes the form of recreations, but from the point of view of the men 'who met for years without disturbance in the shadows of Mt. Rainier,' as Devor puts it."[1]
"I aestheticized the sleaze right out of it." - Devor[2][dead link]
"This was a guy who was a conservative man at one point, and those ideas started breaking down for him. I think that 9/11 triggered a lot of it. But he was [also] in the center of one of the most secretive military complexes. Meanwhile, he listened to a lot of left-wing radio, he questioned everything our government was involved in, and he was ethically conflicted about his job and the money he was making. That's the core fascination for me." - Devor, describing his interest in the film's subject.[3][dead link]

IndieWire comment edit

I commented out those statements in the "reception" section. I had been bothered by the characterization that IndieWire had called it, and this was in quotes in the original, "without sensation". That made no sense in context (I think it may be "without sensationalizing"), but am unable to find the original article on IndieWire. The statements were not cited, IAC. If someone points out the article, please cite the statements or provide a link here for it.Vulture19 (talk) 20:02, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

POV edit

His inclusion and interaction with the director derailed the initial concept of the film and resulted in a major re-editing after the Sundance Festival. This included a puzzling interview with one of the minor actors that confused whatever purpose the film originally had.

Very interesting - but totally original research, and your point of view! Not sure what's to be done about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.111.147.96 (talk) 21:20, 4 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I deleted the second sentence. It's his/her point of view but also relatively unintelligible. Was the actor confused? Did interviewing the actor confuse the interviewer? Did the actor comment on how the original purpose of the film was lost? Subjective and very confusing. BobbingPebble (talk) 06:42, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

External links modified edit

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Zoo (film). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
