Inconsistency with Elvis taxon edit

The Elvis taxon page describes a Zombie taxon as an Elvis taxon that had moved from the time of its presumed extinction and its rediscovery. The description here is just that of an Elvis taxon. 71.237.90.89 (talk) 10:18, 15 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Read a little closer — a Zombie taxon is related to the previously identified taxon in the fossil record. The Elvis taxon is not related to the previously identified taxon in the fossil record but has actually come to resemble it through convergent evolution. I agree that it's not made 100% obvious and demand thorough reading but I can't think of a better way to state this. Also, this is made more difficult as many scientific articles on wikipedia tend not to cater for lay-readers. If you have a better way of expressing the difference then your suggestions are more than welcome. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 21:42, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Examples edit

There should be some examples in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.139.81.0 (talk) 18:53, 23 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
