Removed Notability and Citation Tags

edit

I've removed the Notability and Refimprov tags. I believe there are enough independent sources covering Zions Bank to show that the bank is notable, and I've added a number of references to the article body. I didn't agree with the notability tag in the first place, so I'm going to just ignore that. One 12 year old article from the Deseret News, and one more recent article from LDS Church News about a building being dedicated doesn't get you even half way to having enough citations to remove the refimprove tag. We still need more refs, especially from sources outside of the Mormon Corridor. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 00:49, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Restored edits

edit

I've restored many of the edits made by unforgettableid made on April 04, 2013. I don't fundamentally disagree that some of the information is better housed on the bank's website, but there is plenty of precendent for these sections within other bank articles on Wikipedia. Further, many of the "minor" edits substantially changed the tone of the article. Kris247 (talk) 15:21, 19 April 2013 (UTC) Kris247 (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. Dear sir: The main goal of my work was to remove puffery and advertorial content from the article. You undid my work. I have restored my work. I have also placed {{uw-coi}} and {{uw-advert1}} notices on your user talk page. Please read the notices carefully. Yes, I know I removed the "Corporate Social Responsibility" section that you worked hard to write, and I know that it is frustrating to see content removed after you have worked hard to write it. But like I said, it does not belong on Wikipedia. In fact, I am considering nominating the Zions Bank article for complete deletion, due to the advertorial content introduced by users like you.
