Something lacking edit

I think that this article is missing one critical element. How did the story break out?. We get pieces like CCP trying to hide the evidence etc. Without head, how was her corpse identified? Was she buried?

Without these informations, the whole article could be thrown into question even with the referenced citations (mostly from a single book). These information should be extracted from the referenced book to be credible and complete.

This page was also missing the time frame for people who are not familiar with Chinese history, which was during Cultural Revolution. The entire country and CCP party was dysfunctional. Many people have suffered. The question is though, was she a very important person s.t. she had to be treated so differently? Like Wikipedia mentions, exceptional situations requires exceptional evidences. Her situation needs to be explained better.

The sources used here are from universities. If you want to use less reliable websites, there are plenty out there. There are other victims, but this one is quite well known in the PRC timeframe. There are others from the Qing and previous eras. Benjwong (talk) 15:12, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
It didn't change the fact most material came from one single source. It doesn't help to have one source quoting another when all in the end the entire thing is from a single source. Well known doesn't mean it is true either (flat earth for example.
Please note that I did not question whether or not the story was true, nor did I question the reliability of the source. I was merely pointing out that the way of the material being presented was inadequate. Coconut99 99 (talk) 05:26, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
There appears to be 4 reliable sources on this page. Can you please expand on what you mean by the material presented was inadequate. Benjwong (talk) 05:04, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Wow! The PPC has very hentai methods for punishment (a heroic asian chick, bondage, torture and blood!), I'll vote for them! Now seriously, that sounds as western propaganda to me. Even the name of West(point of)view is speaking for itself...--92.118.191.48 (talk) 05:26, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I have to agree. Other than the single book, of which about 3 pages is written on Zhang Zhixin - all written in a sensationalist style which seems impossible to have gathered empirically - I have had great difficulty finding other verifiable information on her. Is there more out there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.123.204.150 (talk) 03:16, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
