Despite its length compared to its importance rating, this article does not include Coltrin's role in helping continue segregated worship in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1879). Additionally, some of the language is specific to the religion and more biographical than encyclopedic, including the subheading "A Patriarch with Apostolic foresight" and the amount of detail in the stories in paragraphs 2-4 of that section.
