Can someone render "Be Prepared", the Scout Motto, into the Hausa language and the Zarma language? Thanks! Chris 05:27, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Consonant consistency

edit

There have been many great, helpful edits to the phonetics section of this article. But each time the consonant chart is corrected, it ends up a mixture of Zarma alphabetic symbols and IPA symbols. It should be one or the other. Which way should the chart go? I think Zarma letters would be better as long as they are explained in the text, but either would be better than the mixture that is currently used. Any opinions? --seberle (talk) 19:08, 24 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Zarma in Civilization 5

edit

There were some unsourced claims that Zarma is the language of Askia (Songhay) in Civ. 5. Can someone verify that? AngrySlav (talk) 22:04, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Askia was Songhay. Songhay and Zarma are considered dialects of the same language. --seberle (talk) 07:07, 21 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
