Gbue Samuel Zanzan is a professional footballer who plays as defender, most recently for Ecotes football club, the football team of Ecotes Benin university, Cotonou, republic of Benin. The Institution in which he was formerly a student and served as the school football team captain and as the students union commissioner for sports during the 2019/2020 session.He was one of the best student unionists during his time in the university. In December 2019, he was voted for and awarded the university's most popular student. He was known as a diplomat who served as a bridge between the students and staff of the university. After graduating from university, Zanzan was unable to register immediately for the NYSC program because of the challenges caused by the covid19 pandemic. He later registered and was called up to Amada temporary orientation camp in Gombe state. During the three weeks orientation camp, Zanzan participated in different activities such as dance, sporting events and traditional drama. His athleticism helped his platoon to become the overall best in camp. He was also awarded the best footballer in camp.
